Job Summary
Part time faculty are hired as needed on a semester-to-semester basis and typically teach up to nine credit hours during the semester. Columbia State offers classes at five campuses: Columbia Campus, Williamson Campus, Lawrenceburg Campus, Lewisburg Campus, and Clifton Campus. Columbia State also offers classes at several off-campus locations and clinical sites.
Minimum Qualifications
Instructor Assistant – Currently licensed as a Tennessee EMT – Basic (or higher) without history of revocation, suspension, or denial of licensure. Minimum one-year pre-hospital experience. Minimum 75 hours EMS related teaching experience acceptable to the TN EMS Board and current BLS Instructor Certification.
Instructor Coordinator – Associate degree. Current TN EMT-Paramedic license without history of revocation, suspension, or denial of licensure. Two years’ experience practicing advanced life support in the pre-hospital environment; minimum 300 hours EMS related teaching experience (or two years EMS education administration). Current endorsement in an EMS Board approved trauma, cardiac, and pediatric course (instructor preferred). Completion of EMS Board approved Instructors’ course.

Job Summary UK HealthCare is seeking a highly motivated pharmacist for a clinical pharmacist position with a specialty focus in internal medicine and surgical patients. Surgical services include colorectal surgery, vascular surgery, surgical oncology, plastic surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthopedic surgery, otolaryngology, and head and neck surgery. Assignments will vary based on scheduling needs within each service line. This pharmacist will provide clinical services to their assigned acute/progressive care patients including participation in interdisciplinary rounds, patient education, clinical pharmacokinetic and anti-coagulation monitoring, drug information, cost-effective care analysis, and transitions of care. Opportunities for precepting both pharmacy students and residents, academic appointments with UK COP, and research are available.
