Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us.<h4>Position: Operations Manager QC STAT 2nd Shift</h4><h4>Location: Devens, MA</h4>2nd Shift ( Mon- Friday 3:00 pm to 11:00pm)Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Trains, mentors, and leads analysts, that are responsible for delivering quick turn, forward processing results for routine testing and non-routine testing for both commercial and clinical manufacturing facilities in a GMP environment.</li><li>Develops methods and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.</li><li>Reviews data obtained for compliance to specifications and reports abnormalities.</li><li>Provides technical and operational expertise for training and developing staff, assisting in troubleshooting, and performing investigations for out of specification results.</li><li>Develops and maintain expertise in multiple test methods (Analytical, Microbiological and Open operations monitoring).</li><li>Writes technical reports and reviews and revises standard operating procedures as needed.</li><li>Performs data analysis and trending for method transfers and process investigations.</li><li>Leads projects related to quality control programs as assigned</li><li>Administers departmental program to assure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and leads the investigation and troubleshooting of equipment, testing and process abnormalities.</li><li>Coordinates interdepartmental activities, providing technical expertise to ensure that the programs are in compliance with current industry standards.</li><li>Attends site huddles and coordinates transfer of information between shifts.</li><li>Performs Testing as needed when applicable.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Knowledge of science generally attained through studies resulting in a B.S., in science, engineering, biochemistry, a related discipline, or its equivalent is preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 6 years of experience in Biologics QC lab or experience in a related biopharmaceutical GLP or GMP laboratory.</li><li>Strong technical experience with HPLC based methodologies, in accordance with USP, EP and ACS.</li><li>Operational knowledge with the following analytical instruments, UV/Vis, SoloVPE, HPLC, TOC analyzers.</li><li>Previous experience with method transfers is desired.</li><li>Experience with LIMS and Smart lab computer applications.</li><li>Proficient in common computer software applications.</li><li>Strong general laboratory and organizational skills, effective communication skills, both oral and written.</li></ul>BMSBL, BMSBLDMA#LI-Onsite“GPS_2025”If you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn’t perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
