MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

<li>Strong hands-on technical background in mechanical maintenance, electrical motor controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, computer software and hardware skills, AC/DC electrical, multimeter use, and technical math.</li>
<li>Minimum three (3) years of successful experience in the Industrial Maintenance field within the last five years.</li>

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

GENERAL DUTIES:

<li>Monitor, grade, and evaluate individual CTE students’ performance and progress; maintain appropriate records; prepare and submit timely reports.</li>
<li>Participate in in-service training, workshops, and other programs for professional growth.</li>
<li>Participate in student organizations (SkillsUSA, etc.).</li>
<li>Maintain a well-organized, safe, and clean lab and/or classroom.</li>

GENERAL DUTIES:&nbsp; The Industrial Electrical Maintenance/Mechatronics (IEM) Associate Instructor is primarily responsible for providing individualized theory and hands-on instruction to students. This position will teach adult and high school students in the IEM program in conjunction with the current IEM instructor to prepare them for employment in the field. Areas of instruction include, but are not limited to: manufacturing processes, industrial safety, blueprint reading, technical math, process automation, quality inspection, CAD/CAM, electronics, mechanical maintenance, electrical motor controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, programmable logic controllers (PLC), instrumentation, computer software and computer hardware skills, AC/DC electrical, machine tool, and preventive maintenance. The Associate Instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress; maintain student records in the college’s student records management software; maintain appropriate documentation; submit timely reports, and assist in recruiting new students and placement of graduates. This position must also maintain good public relations with business and industry; maintain an active advisory committee; cooperate with outside agencies; and supervise and follow-up on students participating in cooperative education. This position is full-time and reports to the Clarksville Campus Director. Work schedule is a minimum of 37.5 hours per week on a set schedule from Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This is not a remote work position. Anticipated start date August 2025.

Title: Maintenance Technician
POSITION SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, performs basic maintenance and repairs to electrical, plumbing and other building systems and provides general carpentry, painting and commercial building repair/maintenance services across all seven of the College’s campuses.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responds to and completes work orders for various maintenance projects and requests in a timely manner. Performs basic plumbing maintenance, including repairing faucets, caulking fixtures, running clogged drain lines and rebuilding &amp; replacing plumbing fixtures. Performs electrical repairs, including replacing light fixtures, lightbulbs and electrical receptacles and switches.
Prepares, primes and paints interior and exterior building surfaces. Installs and repairs drywall, glass, handrails, window blinds, ceiling tile, carpet/floor tiles, baseboard molding, etc. Maintains and repairs doors, locks, closers. Repairs or replaces defective equipment. Conducts preventative repairs on an annual, monthly, weekly and daily basis as needed/assigned.
Travels to extended campuses as assigned to perform routine and preventative maintenance and to assess condition of buildings/systems. Maintains a parts, supplies and equipment inventory and advises supervisor when inventory needs to be replenished. Moves chairs, desks, file cabinets and other furniture and equipment. Assembles furniture as needed. Assists with indoor and outdoor College event set-up and break-down, including tables, chairs, podiums, risers, stages, drapes, banners, etc., along with other miscellaneous requests.

Three (3) years’ building maintenance experience
